Jim, Darla, John, and sailing vessel Intention are on their way! They departed Alameda around 5:00 PM, Wednesday, May 11. Paul E, Gary F, Paul G, Dave H, and Chick P, met them in s/v VALIS as they sailed under
the Bay Bridge, and escorted them out the Golden Gate, cameras clicking. It was a windy day, with moderate swells in the channel. The sky was clear, the air comfortable, and you couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to begin this adventure.
